This fully guided Rainforest Wildlife Canoeing tour with On the Wallaby Adventures explores the Highland Rainforest and Crater Lakes National Parks.
The tour begins with a scenic drive up the Gillies Range, stopping for rainforest walks in search of native wildlife at both the Cathedral Fig Tree and the volcanic crater Lake Barrine, where lunch is provided.
The afternoon is spent exploring a secluded area of Lake Tinaroo in the safety of a two person canoe.
Let the informative guide show you the rare birds and wildlife such as tree climbing kangaroos, before painting your face with Aboriginal ochres.
Hot showers, tea and coffee await you at the On The Wallaby Lodge to round off your day.
This tour returns to Cairns at approximately 7:00pm.
