Eden House Retreat and Mountain Spa is located right in the heart of historic Yungaburra, a scenic 1 hour drive from Cairns or 4 hours from Townsville. Yungaburra is central to all of the beautiful natural attractions of the Atherton Tablelands.

Surrounded by award winning tropical gardens, Eden House luxury cottages and villas offer seclusion and tranquility within walking distance of Yungaburra’s many restaurants, cafes and craft shops.

Garden Cottages
The three Garden Cottages are hidden away behind the main homestead, featuring a rustic country theme with heritage colour scheme and prominent use of local timbers. Their features include queen size bed, ambient electric fireplace, and private garden courtyard and kitchenette. They can accommodate up the 5 guests with a double fold out sofa and roll away bed (extra cost).

Deluxe Spa Cottages
Meandering paths wind their way through lush tropical gardens to the romantically secluded cottages. Beautiful rainforest timbers and bold colours make for a rustic, country ambience. The three Spa Cottages feature queen size bed, double spa bath, air conditioning, ambient electric fireplace, private garden courtyard, mini bar and kitchenette. They can accommodate up to 5 guests with a double fold out sofa and roll away bed (extra cost).

Luxury Spa Villas
The six Luxury Spa Villas provide our top level of luxury and indulgence. With modern, contemporary décor and subtle, earthy colours, The Villas feature king size bed, double spa bath, ambient electric fireplace, air-conditioning, private garden courtyards, mini bar and kitchenette. Bathrobe and slippers are provided - as well as complimentary port – for the ideal place to unwind after treatments in the Mountain Spa.

Dining:
The Eden House Dining Room is set in a beautifully restored heritage listed homestead in the heart of historic Yungaburra Village. Relish the cosy fireplaces on chilly winter evenings, or savour the fragrant gardens from our wide colonial verandahs. A cooked country breakfast or tropical continental breakfast is included in the room rate and is served in the Dining Room.

Day Spa:
The Mountain Spa is the only of its kind in the region, and offers relaxing and holistic treatments for mind, body and soul. Let the skilled therapists soothe away your worries with a range of massage, hydrotherapy and body treatments using native Li’Tya products. Please enquire for special packages!

While Eden House is only an easy hour up from the coastal tropics, there is a refreshingly different climate to the sweltering, lowland summer heat. Winters can be crisp and cool, and summers are naturally air conditioned.
