Mt Quincan Crater Retreat is the ultimate escape, with unsurpassed panoramic views over the hills and valleys of the Atherton Tablelands and only minutes from historical Yungaburra Village

There are 8 architecturally-designed treehouses with views of either the ancient volcanic crater or the surrounding countryside. The cabins are nestled in trees on the slopes of extinct Mt Quincan volcano. All are isolated and equally breathtaking.

The cabins are very peaceful and secluded with private decks where you can enjoy the sounds of the birdlife and possibly see a tree kangaroo.  The double spa is the perfect spot to enjoy the view - bring champagne for the cooler and flutes by the spa.  

Thoughtful touches make this a very special retreat. On arrival are fresh homemade muffins with jam and cream. A bottle of Port and chocolates are on the sideboard as an after-dinner treat.

The spacious yet cosy cabins are modern and decorated in vibrant colors. Local artists have created fixtures and artwork. Each cabin has a king size bed, television, video recorder and sound system. A rotating wood fire in the heart of the cabin allows you to warm up whether in the lounge, kitchen or bed.

Mt Quincan has a moderate level walking track around the crater rim which takes about an hour.

You will need to hire a car from Cairns. It takes about 1 1/2 hours to get here.

This property does not allow children, however Rivers Edge Cooinda is perfect for families and operated by the same management as Mount Quincan.
