Allumbah Pocket Cottages are situated in the centre of the historic Yungaburra Village. Yungaburra was established in 1890, and was then known as Allumbah Pocket, hence how Allumbah Pocket Cottages was named.

In 1910 the village of Yungaburra took hold and is now a delightful village with 28 Heritage listed buildings, award winning restaurants, cafes and galleries.

The accommodation at Allumbah Pocket Cottages comprises of 8 luxury cottages, six of which were opened in 2002 and have been designed to look like the early settler cottages at the turn of the century. Nearby the other two heritage cottages have been renovated with all the modern day luxuries.

All cottages are self contained in a quiet location with outdoor verandahs overlooking gardens.

The cottages feature pale cream and blue walls with crisp cotton linens. Uncluttered and comfortable is the theme, with polished floors, a kitchenette area, potbelly wood-burner stove, thick merino wool blankets and a bathroom with spa. Breakfast is left each morning in a wicker hamper, which comprises of homemade cob bread, preserves and jams, organic milk and eggs.

One Bedroom Cottages:
These self contained timber cottages provide a relaxing and tranquil retreat amongst landscaped gardens. The spacious bedroom has a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a double spa bath and a separate large shower. The cottages also contain a large living area with a comfortable lounge and a wood stove can be used during the cooler winter evenings.
