There are 15 terrace-style Lodges and 5 Ensuite Rooms which offer basic amenities for a budget family holiday. The price displayed relects the level of this budget accommodation.

Lodges:
The lodges are of a two-storey terrace-style, offering either direct Lake Frontage or Lake Views. The main bedroom is upstairs, it contains a queen size bed. Downstairs is the bathroom and second bedroom with two single bunk beds. The bunk beds are not made up but linen is supplied on the beds. There is a futon sofa in the living area which can serve as another double bed if required. Sleeps up to 6 people. 

The 2 bedroom lodges are self-contained with basic kitchen facilities including a microwave & 2 top burner stove.  Laundry facilities are located elsewhere on the premises.

The 1 bedroom lodge has limited cooking facilities - tea & coffee, microwave, toaster and sandwich maker.

Ensuite Rooms:
They are located in a single high-set building overlooking the lodges and gardens. There are 3 double rooms and 2 triple rooms available. The double rooms have one double bed and a futon sofa. The triple rooms have three single beds. The ensuite rooms share communal kitchen and dining facilities. Laundry facilities are available on the premises. The wrap around verandah has a large dining area where you can enjoy your meal and the lake views.

Property Features:

Direct access to the lake from the property for boating, swimming, sailing, canoeing and fishing for the mighty "Barramundi". Freshwater crayfish are plentiful and easy to catch from the shore.
Many guests use us as a base to see the Tablelands which can take forever if you have the time.
Bush walking on well maintained tracks high into the ranges to see old tin mines, gold mines and the Barron River. The huge Tinaroo Dam is about 200m away from your cabin and when the dam is full is a spectacular site as it overflows.
Birdwatching is a must as there are hundreds of species including parrots, wrens, honey eaters and many more. Prettyface wallabies abound.
If you have a boat skiing is very popular in the fresh water. Cooler temperatures up here and very little if any humidity most of the year.

Children and Extra Guests Details
Children under 5 are free. All others an extra charge per night each.

Lake Tinaroo Terraces is next to the Tinaroo Dam wall lookout and Pensini's Restaurant. It is about a 80 minute drive from Cairns via Gillies Range through Yungaburra. Or 1 hour and 40 minutes drive from Cairns via Kuranda Range through Mareeba.
